The Collection
The Collection now totals in excess of 34,000 items, of which 2,000 are permanently on Display. The balance form the Reserve Collection and is available on this web site. There are over 16,000 photographs, 6,000 archive, 4,000 medals, 1,000 items of uniform, 500 weapons and ancillaries.
Regimental Timeline
Each regiment maintained a Digest of Service. This was a journal which recorded events in the life of the regiment. There was no set format and the amount of detail varied between regiments. Summary information has been extracted, and is presented here, from each of the four regiments' digests run from their formation until 1914.
