Kings, lords and peasants alike, get ready for our FREE medieval living history weekend!
Ever wondered what life was like for people in England over 500 years ago? Come and find out!
Take a step back in time to medieval England on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May. We will be joined in our garden by a host of medieval living history groups who will be showing you how people lived, what they ate, what they wore and even how they did battle.
No booking is necessary, so come on down and join us on the day!
There is no fee for the event but donations are always welcome. You can donate at the till or by using our contactless donation box, located at the foot of the staircase.
Access to the museum's galleries is not included in the free event but tickets can be purchased at the till from one of our front desk volunteers.
