Lords, knights and peasants alike!
Join us on the 21st and 22nd June at Castle Wardrobe for our weekend! Our beautiful medieval building, The Wardrobe, will be turned into a medieval fortress for as we bring you a flavour of the Middle-Ages. We'll be joined by the 'House of the Twin-Tailed Lion' re-enactment group between 10am and 5pm on both days as they set up camp in our walled garden. They'll be showcasing the uniform, equipment and weaponry of a medieval soldier, whilst allowing you to experience their encampent- with all of the sights and smells that go with it!
The House of the Twin-Tailed Lion includes men and women who perform as knights, men-at-arms, mounted cavalry, archers, crossbowmen, seamstresses, wood-turners, forge-masters, cooks, craftsmen, villagers, peasants, monks and priests. They'll be demonstrating an array of armour, weaponry, games, food as awell as showcasing how medieval soldiers fought.
Entry is by donation.
