Bobbie makes friends at the Imperial War Museum

As readers will already know, Bobbie has gone to stay at the Imperial War Museum (IWM) until next April, possibly longer if he then spends 6-8 months at IWM(North) in Manchester.

It is great to report that Bobbie has already made new friends there. He is taking part in the Animals' War exhibition. In the picture you can see that he is already getting to know Frilly and Tiney.

Frilly was the War Office cat in 1909. Tiney was the mascot of 12 Company of the Commisariat and Transport Corps and was present at the battle of Tel-el-Kebir on 13th September 1882.

If you live in or around London do take the opportunity to visit Bobbie. He would appreciate visitors and admirers alike.

Thanks go to the staff at the IWM for allowing this image to be taken. Photography is not permitted in the Animals' War exhibition.
