Join us on the 5th & 6th July for a festival of firepower!
Come down to The Wardrobe and meet troops from the 'Wellington's Artillery' living history group as they set up camp for the weekend. These Waterloo-era re-enactors will be bringing plenty of firepower and will be exhibting a range of weapons, including cannons and muskets! If you've ever wanted to get up close to the guns that defeated Napoleon- here's your chance!
Alongside their weapons demonstrations, these brilliant re-enactors provide full living history camp displays and foot drill. Walking through their encampments will take you back in time over 200 years, putting you in the shoes of a Napoleonic-era artillery soldier.
Entry to the event is by donation. All donations go towards the upkeep of the museum and our ongoing redevelopment.
