| Entry | (Sunday) Made machine gun trench from which to support the firing line. Attack against firing line repulsed. Started snowing. Germans shelling at intervals. 3 Coys relieved the Gordons. We have now taken over the whole of the Section, the other 2 Regts of the Bde being greatly reduced in officers and men. The trenches were very wet. Heavy musketry at 12 and 2 a.m. |
