Location	France, [Nord Helf]
Entry	(Saturday) Marched at 9a.m. to MERRIS where it was found that there was not sufficient billeting accommodation for the Bde. The Battn was in consequence sent out to NORD-HELF about a mile N of there. Here we got into billets in some scattered farms. Got baggage wagons up. Was informed by Bde that we were likely to get a rest here, and got instructions accordingly. [signed] T Roche Major. OC 1st Wilts Regt.
