Location France, [Neuve Chapelle]
Entry (Friday) Battn marched at midnight, C Coy as rearguard moved into position W of NEUVE CHAPELLE partially prepared by RE. Dug and made bombproof until sniping got too bad, had to knock off until dusk, continued entrenching and strengthening the works after dark. Casualties 2 killed & 3 wounded.
