Entry (Sunday) Advanced 7.30a.m. passed through BRAINE. Division delayed by shell fire on road between BRAINE and CHASSEMY. Battn halted for day in extended order off the road about N of BRAINE. Bivouacked in field near BRAINE for night, delay due to enemy having blown up all the bridges over the River AISNE.
