Entry | 23rd to 30th. The Battalion came under the Command of the Officer Commanding TOWN Troops ROUEN, and up to the end of the month, was employed, under the orders of the Suptd of Labor, chiefly in unloading - loading and stacking Ammunition at the, Army Ordnance Depot, Main Ammunition Depot, and Ammunition Wharf, also in handling stores at the Base Supply Depot. The full available strength of Privates was employed by day or night, together with a proportion of Subaltern Officers, and Non commissioned officers.
