Entry New Years Day was observed as a holiday. Football matches were played during the morning. Trial Match for selection of the Battalion team was played during the afternoon. A Divisional Cross Country Run was held. Pte Johnstone of "D" Coy finished 7th. The 54th Infantry Brigade team finished first.
