Entry 17:30. Platoon Officers of A, B and D Coys attended a tactical scheme under CAPT TUFF Company Commanders were present at a lecture on matters connected with the employment of Machine Guns given by N.K. CHATERIS DSO, Fourth Army Machine Gun Officer at WARLOY. Baths at CARDONETTE were allotted to the Battalion from 09.00-18.00 hrs. A Divisional Cross country run was held in which a team of 2ND LT J.W. PATE and 19 OR represented the Battalion. Lectures on the War and the Navy were also given to the troops by CAPT TUFF, which were much appreciated. An excellent Battalion ground was in the area allotted, see Map. The Brigade Concert Party "The Zeros" gave performances each evening to crowded houses.
