| Entry | As will be seen from Appendix I the mornings were utilised to the fullest extent in a method of progressive training, whilst afternoons and evenings were spent in various forms of recreational training. During the afternoon an inter-Battalion football match was played with 10th Essex Regt resulting in a win for our opponents by 4 goals to 2. The Battalion team was captained by CAPT. G.W.H.
