Entry The whole of the 53rd Brigade was concentrated in the village. The day was devoted to cleaning up, reorganising, refitting etc. LT COLONEL T.M. BANKS DSO, MC, who had commanded the Battalion since 26th August last, left to assume command of 19th ESSEX Regt and command devolved upon MAJOR S.W. WARR.
