Entry As orders were received for the Battalion to arrive at (embussing point) at 09.30 hrs, it was necessary to be astoi early, commencing the march at 08.00 hrs. 11:30hrs. The Staff Captain allotted accommodation and embussing of the troops was proceeded with. Journey was commenced about 12.00 hrs. following route was taken - LIERAMONT-NURLU-MOISLAINS-BOUCHAVESNES-COMBLES-GUILLMONT-MONTAUBAN-FRICOURT-ALBERT-main AMIENS road through LA HOUSSOYE to PONT NOYELLES-QUERRIEU to ALLONVILLE. 16:00hrs. When after an uneventful journey the Battalion debussed. A billeting party had arrived earlier in the day from Battle Surplus, who now conducted coys, to their billets. These proved to be fairly comfortable for the men, whilst accommodation for officers was somewhat limited.
