Entry Batt having moved at dawn 4AM took over this line acting as Garrison, - B and C Coys. See being under the orders of 55th Brigade and A and D Coys those of 54th Brigade. FRONT LINE. 10PM. Batt relieved the 7th BUFFS on the Right Batt Front. Line was held with one coy in front line from E 19 a 8.8 to E 13 c 8.9, where it connected with 7th R.W. KENTS Regt., - one coy in front line from E 19 a 8.8 to E 19 G 5.0 where it connected with 24th BATT AUSTRALIAN I F., one coy was, for counter attack, in DINGO TRENCH from NINE ELMS D 18 d 8.8 to bank at E 19 a 1.8 whilst the remaining coy was in reserve - 2 platoons being in NINE ELMS TRENCH from D 24 a 2.3 to D 24 a 5.8. Batt Head Qrs were in quarry at D 24 a 1.8. (See map attached)
