Entry During this period time was fully occupied in training and organising draft which were arriving and refitting in clothing and equipment. Whilst in this Area the III Corps, in which the Batt was, was allotted the task of the defence of AMIENS. Routes to positions of assembly and ground in front was reconnoitred by Officers and NCO's. Consequent upon the probability of the Battalion having to move in case of an enemy attack Warning Order No. 1 was issued.
