Entry 4AM. Marched from Camp to Embussing Point on main PARIS-SOISSONS Rd. 6AM. Embussed and moved off at 7AM. As the Batt was attached, with the remainder of 53rd Brigade, to the French Army, rations for consumption on 29th inst were drawn from the French Army and consisted of French Bread, Lard, Fresh Meat, Coffee Beans and Vin Rouge. Road to BOVES GENTELLES. 10:30PM. Debussed after rather a long journey and after being crowded in French basses for about 16 hours. 11PM. Arrived and went into billets. (Batt HQrs A and B Coys). C and D Coys arrived in village about 7AM 30th.
