| Entry | 11PM. Battalion took over the Front Line trenches, relieving 10th ESSEX Regt. During the occupation of the Line, trenches were generally improved. Batt HQrs was at LA GUINGUETTE FM., B and D Coys in Front Line, A Coy along main ST QUENTIN RD and Coy in Quarry behind Batt HQrs. On the night 15/16th A and C Coys moved into the Front Line, their positions vacated being taken over by D and B Coys respectively. On the night 18/19th Coys changed over and were in same positions as on 12.3.18. Very little activity during this period by either side. |
