Entry 10:45AM. Amid many manifestations of the good feeling prevailing between this Battalion and those of the other Battalions in the Brigade, the Battalion marched away to the strains of the music of band of the 1st CAMERON HRS. The Pipers of the 1st ROYAL HIGHLANDERS had previously played in the camp. Outside the Church in the village of CROMEKE the Cameron's band played the Battalion "out" to the tune of "Auld Lang Syne." Battalion then marched into the area occupied by 18th DIVISION. En route four Bands of units in 18th Division joined the column, playing this unit into its new command. In the village of MOLENWAL the Division band played whilst Battalion marched past Major General R.P. LEE C.B. Commanding 18th Division. PORTSMOUTH CAMP. 12:30PM. Arrived and went into camp.
