Regiment 8th Royal Berkshire
Location France, CHUIGNES
Entry Training continued along the same lines, the battalion carrying out different tactical schemes each day under conditions as realistic as possible - battle order and full equipment of stores. Also frequent inspections of the battalion by the C.O., and occasionally half days devoted to individual training of company and battalion specialists. There were several inter-brigade and divisional schemes for battn scouts and observers and for the signal section also. Sections of the 1st T.M. Battery and M.G. Coy accompanied the battalion on several occasions for practice in co-operation in the assault on strong points.
