Entry Concert given by 8th R. Berks and No 1 MG Coy. Football match with Camerons. Inter battalion boxing in evening in open air ring at CHUIGNES. R. Berks won these events: FEATHER WEIGHT under 9st L Cpl BARKER A Coy, LIGHT WEIGHT under 9st 9lbs Pte S. EDMONDS, A Coy, weights over 11st 6lbs Pte A.E. HARPER D Coy. Divisional scheme for Brigade and Battalion intelligence officers and scouts and observers on ground S of PROYART. 1st Bde represented foremost line of infantry of WHITE ARMY in retirement. The amount of information gained and reported to Bde Intelligence officers by battn scouts and observers was large and would have been most useful to COs in all cases.
