Entry Work on roads continued for ten days during which time several large craters were filled in and the deviations corduroyed and metalled with brick, sump pits dug and all roads in the area made negotiable for heavy motor transport. In all five craters were filled in. Battn bathed in baths located at MESNIL ST NICAISE. NCOs class continued. Sixteen company scouts received training under batt scout officer and CSMs attended course of map reading. 8:30AM. CHUIGNES. Battalion moved to CHUIGNES marching via LICOURT-VILLERSCARBONNEL-FOUCAUCOURT; dinners en route. Men and officers quartered in huts which had been considerably improved since battalion was here last.
