Entry Battalion march out of billets to a forward area. On the line of march, between CERISSY and MORCOURT, the Battalion marched past a French General who took the salute. Accompanying the French General was the G.O.C. III Corps, G.O.C. 1st Division and the Brigade Commander. On reaching the saluting point, the band which was marching at the head of the column, wheeled to the left of the road and played the Battalion past; wheeling in behind the last company. The Divisional General expressed his satisfaction to the C.O., upon the march past of the Battalion. OLYMPE. 2:30PM. The Battalion reached its destination and was situated in huts and dug-outs.
