| Entry | During the time the Battalion was billeted here, fatigues were supplied to work on the improvement of the roads outside the town. On account of these fatigue parties, the training was somewhat hampered, but, nevertheless, much training of a useful character was carried out. The Commanding Officer visited the Base Depot (No 460 Infantry Base Depot) on the 17th January, returning on the 20th. The idea of the visit was to get in personal touch with the O.C. Base Depot to that our requirements and state generally may be known. |
