Entry | During this period Battalion training was continued, special attention being paid to "The Battalion in the Attack", which was practiced both by day and night. Owing to the approach of colder weather, every man was instructed in measures to be taken to prevent chilled feet and frostbite. A practical demonstration was given by the Medical Officer in the use of whale oil to Officers and NCO's. 11:30AM. The Battalion marched from the village to GAMACHES, entraining at that station at 6pm. |
