| Entry | 10:0AM and 1:0PM. Sixty pound trench mortars batteries cut enemy's wire in two places. 11:0AM. The Two Companies of 12th S.W.Bs attached to us for instruction left the trenches. 5:0PM. We were relieved by 2nd Battn Royal Munster Fusiliers who came back into the trenches in order to carry out a raid on the enemy's trenches on night of 25th/26th. Battalion went into Brigade Reserve at BULLY. The following promotions approved by GOC 1st Division with effect from 1.4.1916:- Temp Capt D. TOSETTI to be Temp Major. Temp Lieut C.E.
