Entry The following awards for gallantry and devotion to duty on the night of May 27th when the enemy attempted a raid on our trenches were announced: MILITARY MEDAL: No 15311 Corporal P. HOLMES. No 14572 Private D.W. CHARLEY. No 15625 L/Corporal G.C. ROWLAND. The undermentioned NCOs and men were granted cards by the GOC 1st Division in recognition of their good work and courage on the night of May 27th. 1st Class Cards: No 10089 Sergt S. FUDGE.
