| Entry | 7:0PM. The Battalion moved out of PETIT SAINS for the trenches in the MAROC SECTOR. During the day two Companies of 17th WELCH - 40th Division - who had just arrived in France were attached to us for instruction. Each of our Companies had two platoons of the WELCH attached to them and the men were attached to our men, "man for man" i.e. each one of our men had a WELCH man to look after. MAROC "Double Crassier". 10:0PM. The Battalion relieved the 2nd Battn K.R.R. Corps in "Double Crassier" Sub Sector. |
