Entry 8:30AM. Marched back to rest billets at LILLERS. LILLERS. 2:0PM. Arrived, and went into billets. 2nd Lieut C.R. WATSON, having been transferred to ENGLAND, suffering from some disease of the foot, is struck off the strength of the Battalion. Everyone was very sorry that this should have been necessary, but hoped he will rejoin the Battalion later on. This day, a draft of 77 N.C.O.s and men joined from the 3rd Bn and 9th Bn Royal Berkshire Regiment, and were taken on the strength.
