Regiment 8th Royal Berkshire
Location France, English Old front line trench Y1.
Entry 2:30AM. Arrived at got the men settled down in the trench. 8:30AM. The weather was very wet but we spent the day in collecting spare kit, equipment etc which had been left behind on the day of the advance. 10:15PM. Battalion received orders to march to LES BREBIS to billets.
