| Entry | 10:30AM. The Battalion was inspected by Maj General R.C.B. Haking C.B. Comd 8 1st Division. He remarked that much of the clothing was dirty. This is due to the grease from the cooking pots and dishes when men are clearing up as mess orderlies. This cannot be brushed off and it is difficult to obtain new suits. Otherwise he appeared pleased and thought them a fine lot. |
