Entry | Batt baths at OREDVICH during morning. General clearing up. Large explosions and fires observed behind enemy lines, as if blowing up dumps etc. At 1500 hrs orders received to stand by and be prepared to move into GLEN SMOL at dusk. Information having been received that the enemy was retiring. Battn moved down to GLEN SMOL at dusk in readiness. Remarks. 6 OR sick to hospital. 21.09.1918. GLEN SMOL. Advance information received that enemy had evacuated the DOME and PITON des MITRAILLEUSES which had been occupied by 2 Coys of 7th Ox and Bucks L.I. And 11th Worc Regt. Battn moved up into M Sector at 0200 hrs awaiting orders. |
