| Entry | Artillery. Between 2300 and 2305 hrs enemy bombarded our line heavily with 105 and 150mm shells. Enemy MG's fired bursts at intervals on the outpost and front line. Patrols. Patrol to PITON des QUATRE ARBRES were fired on by enemy outposts and also by a MG on PITON des MITRAILLEUSES. Operations. British and Greek troops with heavy artillery preparation and support attack on the DOIRAN front. Preparations made to advance when required. (See 7th Inf Bde and 7th R Berks instructions and operation orders attached). |
