Location Greece, M. SECTOR
Entry Artillery. Enemy artillery fired about 200 rounds 105mm on PITON AVANCE between 1015-1230 hrs, also about 15 rounds 105mm on M4 and M8 sect 2030 hrs. Patrols. One patrol reconnoitred Y RAVINE and the junction of PRONG and MACUKOVO RAVINES. No enemy were heard or seen. Another patrol reconnoitred track S of PITON des QUATRE ARBRES and were met with bombs and rifle fire. A barrage was also put down on the track. 11th WORC assumed defence of "M" Sector with 2 Coys Bn concentrating in Corps behind "M" Sector.
