Location Greece, M. SECTOR
Entry Sunday. No work except camp fatigues. Enemy artillery. 0340-0400 hours shelled this sector. Lewis Gun put out of action in M2 by enemy shell. Enemy brought down heavy barrage on MITRAILLEUSES after our artillery had bombarded his position at 1930 hours, also placed 15 rounds 105MM on M4 camp and Batt Hdqr. C/E Services 0530 hours M2. No patrol left this sector. Capt Bate wounded to hospital. Remarks. 4 ORS rejoined, 1 reinforcement.
