Entry | Work carried on on trench maintenance and in camps. During the night of 25th/26th enemy erected 6 sangars on PITON DES QUATRE ARBRES. Enemy artillery. 0455 hrs placed a few shells in vicinity of M8 and 27 rounds 105MM in direction of SMOL VILLAGE. Between 1500-1730 hrs placed about 80 rounds behind M2, M4 and M5. 1255 enemy fired a few bursts of M Gun fire at MACUKOVO. Patrol of 1 Officer (2Lt SKERMAN) and 20 ORS and 1 L Gun det left M3 at 2000 hours to reconnoitre MACUKOVO as for as CARDIFF RAVINE. No enemy was encountered. Proclamations were left in conspicuous places. Patrol returned to our lines 2345 hours. 1 OR rejoin, 1 OR wounded to hospital. |
