| Entry | Work as for yesterday. Enemy artillery inactive - enemy machine guns inactive. At 0900 hrs an enemy plane flew over our lines. On the night 24th/25th a patrol of 2 Officers and 24 ORS including a L. Gun detachment left our lines at 2100 hrs and proceeded via PETIT PITON to pt 1143/1175 to be up and wait for enemy patrol. Nothing was seen of the enemy voices could be heard from the direction of the trenches on the NOSE. Patrol returned without incident. |
