Location Greece, Res and L Sector
Entry Coys settled down into new sector. Officers made general inspection of the line held with a view to finding out general run of trenches etc and work to be done. Work was done on main line trenches and camps and upon outpost line. Wiring was continued on the Right of the Battn Sector. A patrol of 1 Officer (2/Lt R.E. CHILDS) and 20 ORS reconnoitred GRAND DITON BORDER RAVINE to pt 1128/1765. From PRONE RAV to MACUKOVO RAV ground was found to be swampy no signs of the enemy were found. Enemy artillery shelled L8 camp and front line. Our artillery replied on BLUE RAV.
