| Entry | Work as usual, night parties continued work upon new outpost positions. Our O.P. position on MAMELON DE CHEMIN DE FER on the French side (west) of the R. VARDAR (GUEVGUELI 1/20,000) was shelled at 1725 hrs. Two patrols of 1 Officer and 16 ORS each proceeded to the Sunken Track and pt. 1114/1766 (Smol 1/20000) respectively to lie up and wait for enemy patrols. No enemy patrol was seen or movement heard. Both patrols returned to our lines without incident. Remarks. 3 ORS to hospital (sick). |
