War Diary

1918-05-09
Regiment 7th Royal Berkshire
Location Greece, M Sector
Entry Work on Front Line Trenches as usual. No patrol went out from this Sector on the night 9th/10th owing to inclemency of the weather. Enemy artillery inactive during the day, firing a few rounds of 105 mm on SLOP west of the VARDAR. Much movement is reported round dug-outs on PITON DES MITRAILLEUSES at about point 1126/1776, and apparently the Bulgar is working hard on his trenches, repairing the damage caused by our violent bombardment of his trenches on the night 29th/30th. Remarks. 8 ORS to hospital sick, 1 O off strength to Base Depot, 5 ORS rejoined.
