| Entry | Work as usual. Enemy machine guns fired at our aeroplanes from behind PITON DES MITRAILLEUSES and MULBERRY HILL at 0645 hrs. On the night 4th/5th 2/Lts SHILLCOCK and CHILDS with patrol of 20 ORS each reconnoitred PITON DES 4 ARBRES and PITON DE L'EGLISE respectively, movement was reported in MACUKOVO but nothing found when the village was searched. Numerous very lights were sent up from PITON DES MITRAILLEUSES and MULBERRY HILL. Enemy artillery inactive. Remarks. 3 ORS to hospital sick. |
