Entry Coys work on trenches and wire blocks. 1 NCO and 4 Batt Scouts proceeded to MACUKOVO at 0330 hrs to lie up all day to observe enemy movements and try to locate a small enemy post. No signs of enemy were seen all day. Party returned without incident. Enemy artillery active between 0030-0430 hrs. Flash of guns observed to be NE MULBERRY HILL. Targets:- MACUKOVO TRACK POST. Between PITON DES QUATRE ARBRES and ONE TREE HILL. Trench mortar shells also fired on PITON DES QUATRE ARBRES. Remarks. 2 OR reinforcements, 3 OR rejoined from hospital.
