| Entry | On the morning of the 18th March the Batt moved from TERTRE VERT CAMP at 0830 hrs to march to SMOL HILL. (Ref map 1/50000) KARASOULI and 1/20000 SMOL Edition 3A). Between THE PYRAMIDE and P.N. the Batt marched with small Box Respirators on. This was done as a test. A halt was made at P.N. for mid-day meal. The march was resumed at 1400hrs and the Batt arrived at SMOL HILL at 1700 hrs. Coys marching at 1/2 mile intervals. The Batt bivouaced at SMOL HILL for the night 18th/19th March. Remarks. 1 OR to hospital Sick. |
