War Diary

1918-03-07
Regiment 7th Royal Berkshire
Location Greece, H SECTOR
Entry The usual work on trenches, camps and anti-malarial work was done by companies. A good deal of work was done upon trenches during the day - misty weather making this possible. A patrol under 2/LT A. SHILLCOCK and consisting of the Batt Scouts, left DAULTI TRACK POST at 0200 hours on the morning of the 8th inst to reconnoitre WHITE PILLAR RIDGE. Owing to the extreme darkness, this was rendered very difficult. The patrol had nothing to report. Enemy artillery inactive. Remarks. 2 OR to hospital, 2 OR rejoined from hospital.
