Entry Coys work on trenches and wire. B Coy relieved at GLENGARRY by C Coy on night of 26th/27th, B Coy for Brigade Res at CIDEMLI. Capt S.J. DALE to 75th Infantry Brigade for Staff Course. 2LT F.W.C. HILL took over from Capt S.J. DALE as A/Adj of the Battn. Enemy artillery - 6 105mm shells on GLENGARRY. Patrol reconnoitring E side of LITTLE SELIMLI reached pt 11565/1839 (POBREG 2A 1/20000) where an enemy working party was observed working on second belt of wire in front of main line. Enemy support trenches were also observed. LT L.G. HOPKINS left Batt and proceeded to BASE DEPOT to await passage to UK, on transfer to M.G. CORPS. Remarks. 1 OR to hospital.
