Patrol reconnoitring E side of LITTLE SELIMLI saw enemy patrol of about 80-100, our patrol extended and awaited approach of enemy, but a rifle being accidentally discharged the hope of surprise and also location of our patrol was given away and so patrol returned to our lines without further incident. 4 77mm shells fell on GLEN GARRY in afternoon and 7 105mm in the evening. Remarks. 1 OR sick to hospital. |
