Location Greece, "M" SECTOR
Entry No work during day except repair of trenches where damaged by shell fire. CAPT A.K. BARRETT rejoins from 12th Corps School of Instruction. Our artillery carried out bombardment of enemy wire and trenches. In conjunction with a raid on the NOSE by 77th Bde a patrol of 2 Officers and 46 OR was sent out to capture listening post on PITON DES MITRAILLEUSES, the scouting party got to where the listening post had been previously located and preceded to search but found no signs of enemy posts and returned without further incident. Enemy shelled intermittently during day and night. Casualties 4 OR wounded. Enemy searchlight operated on our trenches during night. Remarks. 8 OR sick to hospital.
