| Entry | Working on trenches. Enemy shelling active throughout the day in all about 70 HE fell on the Sector intermittently, they also retaliated after each burst of M.G. fire. Patrol to reconnoitre MACUKOVO and PITON DE L'EGLISE brought back 2 bombs and some enamel wire but had nothing further to report neither objectives being occupied. Remarks. 3 OR sick to hospital. |
