Entry	Working on trenches. Our artillery starts bombardment of enemy's position, also wire cutting on PITON DES MITRAILLEUSES. Enemy shelling active throughout the day. CAPT A.K. BARRETT goes to XII Corps School of Instruction. There was heavy rain in morning. Casualties 3 OR killed, 5 OR wounded (2 of whom died in CCS). Remarks. 4 OR to hospital.
